Talladega Retirement Home Celebrates Third Anniversary Talladega,
AL – July 7, 2006 - Talladega entrepreneur, Crystal Wesson, launched
Gracious Living Retirement Residence in 2003. The business is housed in
a large, new, well-designed building on the outskirts of Talladega. It
celebrates its third anniversary on August 3, 2006. Wesson’s
goal in establishing Gracious Living was to provide loving care for her
residents and to make sure their needs are met. She wanted a job that
would allow her to feel good about her work. Gracious Living Retirement
Residence accomplishes that goal.
Gracious
Living offers its residents an affordable homelike environment, loving
personal attention, and delicious food. Each resident is assigned to a
private room with private toilet facilities. Residents are allowed to
bring their own furniture and personal treasures to make the room even
more homelike. Central bath facilities are large enough to allow
supervised bathing if needed. A music room is provided, but most
residents prefer to congregate in the TV room. Three well-prepared meals
are served each day in the facility dining room. The son of one
resident, Charles Belitz of Munford, AL, says, “My 87 year old Mother
moved into Gracious Living soon after it opened. I am extremely pleased
with their facility and staff. As a retirement home, this is a very
affordable alternative when compared with assisted living facilities
that I checked.”
